What a crazy weekend I had.
Big Thanks to:
600killer for getting the bikes ready before the race weekend
RNR Cycles (Jason, Rick and Rachel) for helping me this weekend in the pits
Drew4250852025 for helping me put a bike together
I wasn't able to practice at all for this race weekend, I had to come straight from work to VIR, 0 practice. Haven't been here since last June. My lines were not the best lines, the more time I spent on the track, the more I realized the right lines to take. *NOTE TO SELF, NEEDS PRACTICE AT VIR* I was only able to get into the 38's FML. Yip shitty times.
GTO- DNF I lose the rear going into T1
Get back into the pits with about 20 minutes to spare Drew and Gus are helping me get the B bike ready for the GTU race. The B bike is on its last leg.
GTU- 5th
MW GP- 3rd
UNL SB- DNF I'm in 2nd place going into T1 when #725 David Ur over shoots T1 and is getting ready to T-bone me, so I hit the brakes and shoot out wide to avoid getting hit. By the time I get back on the race line I am now in 5th place trying to chase down 4th. As the laps started to decrease I was gaining on 4th place, he would power me after the kink every single time so it was hard for me to pass him on the straight.
I decided to try and pass him on the brakes before going into the roller coaster so I'm setting up and in T10 I was carrying way more speed than he was when all of a sudden I lose the front end. I'm pretty sure this wreck was my mistake. I probably let off the throttle. I got up with my hand all swollen and hurting. I might of jammed it or broken something.
SATURDAY NIGHT- Made 1 bike out of 2 bikes, swapped a few parts and pieces with everyones help and got done by 12am.
SUNDAY AM- Hand still hurting and swollen, popped a few advils and went out for morning practice.
MW SS- 5th
HW SS- 3rd
UNL SS- DNF Awesome start already turning in for T1 when all of a sudden #725 David Ur once again comes out of nowhere and this time T-bones me. I am pissed off, cursing here and there, I ride out near the tire wall to try and relax and calm down. Then he rides up behind me, I turn to him and say "what's your problem" then he replies back with "that's part of racing" who the fuck says some shit like that? As soon as he said that I was pissed off, no "sorry, my bad" he didn't even come to my pits to apologize at all. http://www.ccsforum.com/index.php/topic,24822.0.html
Now both my A bike and B bike are both wrecked and both need parts, with 30 minutes to spare, Rick, Rachel, Jason, Gus are working their asses off and helping me put 1 bike together for my next 2 races. We get it done in time, a quick ghetto rig, broken windshield, exhaust leak, etc...
HW SB- 3rd
MW SB- 4th
Overall what a crazy weekend, I'm sore, body aches really bad, right hand is swollen and stiff. Next race in 3 days FML.
We'll see what they have to say on Nesba.

Raced with CCS on May 28-31st race weekend. Quick updates.
CCS UPDATE May 28
Engine on the new bike blew while control riding. I only put 6 miles on it and it blew. MRP Motorsports did the work and the previous owner had a $3500 receipt for the engine work. I put 6 miles on it before it popped. I wasn't even racing WTF!
Spoke with the engine builder and my assumption was that he was going to take care of it, but instead I find out that he wants to charge me $1700 to fix it.
During the CCS Race weekend, I had to run my old bike that has 104hp and I was able to run a 18.4 at Summit and came home with 5 3rds, 1 1st, and 3 4th.
WERA UPDATE JUNE 12
Decided to race WERA June 12th to make some $$$ or break even but instead I was having mechanical problems, I had 0 engine braking going into T1 and T5. After 6 laps in the MW SOLO race I had to pit in. I ran a 19.7 on the 2nd lap and I actually went through T4 14mph faster than usual. MW SOLO DNF, HW SOLO DNS. FML $370 down the drain, 1st race weekend I've had that I've come home w/o making any $.
BIKE UPDATE 6/13
Once again big thanks to Gus for all the help he has provided me since I 've started racing. Without him I wouldn't be racing at the moment.
Sunday am we decided to work on the bikes, I showed up at his house by 7am and we dropped the engine out of the C Bike. The A bike currently does not have a engine, has crappy suspension etc... After we dropped the engine out of the C Bike, we went to the B bike and checked the clutch/friction plates to see if they were within spec, it seems that they were way out of spec. We replaced them with a new set to see if it fixes the no engine braking problem I was having. We removed the 25mm kit and TTX off the B bike and replaced it with my 20mm kit and my Penske Triple Clicker. On the A bike we removed the crap and replaced it with the 25mm and the TTX and now we have to finish installing the engine.
Hopefully we can get the bike dyno and ready for VIR. I will be extremely busy for the next weeks. Racing at VIR on the 19th with CCS, the week after that racing at Lightning on the 26th with CCS, the week after that back at home racing at Summit Main on July 4th with CCS.
Big thanks to RNR Cycles, Gus, DC-Moto 785graphics, Pitbull, Shoei, Michelin

Crazy race weekend. CCS NJMP Tbolt May 1-2
What a hectic crazy weekend.
Arrived to NJMP Thursday night, unpacked and got everything ready. I had been nervous the entire week because my lap times were not great at all. The week before I had a mechanical issue with my R6 that caused me to lock the front brakes and tuck the front end.
My best time that week was only a 1:37, in my opinion it was not fast enough to run with the front runners to finish top 5.
Friday practice I was only able to get 2-3 sessions in until my bike died on my during practice. I thought it was a battery issue, so we let the battery charge overnight and replaced the rectifier.
Saturday I had signed up for 2 races the GTU race and the MW GP race. In the GTU race I was gridded front row, going into the 5th lap, my quickshifter stopped working, check engine light came on, bike was losing power so I decided to pit in. Ended up getting 41/43. My 2nd race was only 3 races after, my friend Donald let me borrow his R6, I switched my tires over and bodywork, went through tech. Gridded front row again, in this race I felt ok I was getting used to the bike, I noticed the brakes didn't bite as hard as mine did. Towards the end of the race as I 'm getting ready to pass someone a checkered flag gets thrown out, on the way into pits another checkered flag gets thrown out wtf was going on. We went to go see the results and officials stated that the entire front row had jumped the start
. Instead of getting 5th place I ended up getting 30/40, within a few minutes we tried to protest the scoring and after going back and forth between officials we were told to suck it up and results stand as they are. I ran a 33 on Donalds bike.
At the end of Saturday night I started to take my R6 apart to check the stator, after removing the stator cover I noticed my stator had been burnt. FML, not having a bike for Sunday.
Sunday came along texted Gus(600killer) and he told me to ride his bike. Took my Michelins off my R6 and his slicks of his bike and got them swapped, teched, etc.. Missed 1st practice, 2nd practice came around and I was ready to go. Let's just say I've been spoiled with a slipper clutch. Coming down the straight away braking for turn 1 I hear and feel chatter and the whole time I'm thinking to myself its the front forks bottoming out, but then I figured out that the bike did not have a slipper. I was running 39's with Gus' bike and I did not feel comfortable on it. I had bought a 5 gallon of MR12 to run on my R6 and I was debating if I needed to use it on Gus' bike, but at the end I sucked it up and ran the pump gas thinking I wasn't going to do good and finish top 5 or podium.
Race time
Unlimited SS there were 2 red flags issued and Nate Kern has a pretty bad wrecked. They decided to run UNL SS at the end of the day after the UNL SBK race. HW SS race 5/31, MW SS 4/44, HW SB 4/13, MW SB 3/31, UNL SB 1/11, UNL SS 2/10. Ever since I've started doing the Team Challenge races and the GTU races I can ride forever w/o getting too tired. On Gus' bike I was able to run 31's
Overall weekend, I had a blast. Big thanks to: RNR Cycles, DC-Moto, 600Killer(for borrowing his bike), Lucky, Zoli, Donald, Julian, Tim, Justin, Trackdaycustoms.com, and to anyone else that I might of forgot.
Good times racing with: Drew, Nick, Julian, Gus, Derek, Dan, etc...

NJMP Tbolt review
Drove up last Friday to NJMP so I can practice at Thunderbolt and get ready for the CCS race this upcoming weekend. At first I thought I was going to have a good weekend, we beat the rain.
First 3 sessions I was having trouble trying to get the race line for the hook, on the 4th session I was finally able to find the line and pick up the pace. I was hyped and ready to go back out after lunch but on the 5th session on the warm up lap, my bike decides to go WOT right before approaching a turn. Everything happened so fast so I hit the front brakes and locked the front tire which caused me to tuck the front.
On the way back from Jersey one of my bearings on the trailer went out, so I had to drive back home on 3 wheels.
Bike was fixed and finished and was ready on Sunday. NJMP in 2 days and a few hours. Race weekend is arriving, most do good and podium. Running for points.

Carolina Motorsports Update

What can I say about this weekend. We ended up leaving Thursday around 8pm, as soon as we left we hit the storm. The storm was going up the the Northeast coast and it rained the entire trip down until 4am.
Arrived at CMP around 4am, unloaded slept for 2hrs and was hoping to practice on a dry track. Around 6:30 it starts raining again, back to bed I went.
Friday practice was ok, wasn't pushing it too hard.
Saturday had 6 podiums
Sunday 3 podiums and a 1st place in the TC representing RNR Cycles.
CMP weekend was a pretty good weekend, 10 podium finishes. I was able to take home $$$ in every race.
Big thanks to RNR cycles, DC-Moto, Gus and everyone else who has always supported me with racing.
Next round will be NJMP Thunderbolt on April 30-May 2nd. I will be practicing with TPM on April 24th, to learn the track and hopefully get up to pace. Big thanks to Trackdaycustoms for paying for 2 of my races. For the NJMP weekend I'll be racing in: GTU, MW SS/SB/GP, HW SS/SB, UNL SS/SB

I'm suppose to start moving into my new place today.
Time is running out.

Its official
I'm done signing up for my races. At the CCS CMP race weekend I will be doing 15 races. 8 races on Saturday and 7 races on Sunday. I'm trying to win as much Michelin $$ as possible so I can register for my future races.
I started fixing my bodywork last night, today I'll have to sand it down and figure out what I plan to do for paint. Either paint it white or go with a hot pink color.
13 days left for CMP :)

What a crazy weekend
Hopefully during race weekend I can be a little bit more organized and have everything ready ahead of time. My goal for the CMP Track day weekend was to be in the 1:39s.
Friday I wanted to leave around 7pm but didn't get to leave until around 830ish. I got to CMP around 3:45am and unloaded the canopy, bike and tried to get a few hours of sleep.
Saturday came around turned the bike on, set the tire pressures on the new Michelins and met up with Drew. Riders meeting at 9am, on the track at 9:20.
3/20/10 1st session I was getting used to the tires, they felt weird at first, lap times were under 1:50's.
3/20/10 2nd session the pace was picked up, got down into the 44-45's and kept on running wide or overshooting turn 1. Bike did not want to stop so I decided to switch brake pads and run the new Ferodo pads.
3/20/10 3rd session I go out take it easy a few laps then I wreck and destroy my brand new bodywork. Bike did not want to stop for Turn 11. I'm on the brakes then I feel the front getting ready to wash out, so I let off the brakes to stand the bike back up....now I'm getting ready to run off into the grass, then I see a huge dip in the grass so I hit the front brakes to slow down. Picked bike back up went to the pits fixed it in about 5 minutes and went back out that same session and got my times down into the 43's.

3/20/10 Last session Drew and I hooked up with a WERA rider and chased him down on his 1000. Times were still in the 43's.
3/21/10 I felt a lot better, went out 1st session and was running 44's, 2nd session a few rain drops started to fall, Drew took off on the warm up lap to play with a Kawi, I was playing catchup for about 7 laps and got my times down into the 40's.
Michelins awesome tires, they wear out very slowly. My suspension needs to be adjusted, I need to fix my bodywork, I need to check all my bolts. Besides that I am ready for the CCS CMP race weekend. I've signed up for 11 races so far. Still debating if I want to race the unlimited races.
Worked on my website some, added videos.

Racing season is almost here
The days are approaching faster and faster with less than 30 days left until the 1st CCS Race weekend. Time is running out, so much to do so little time. I have signed up to do 2 track days on March 20th/21st so I can get more practice in before the actual race weekend. I will try to break into the 30's during the CMP trackday.
For the 1st race weekend since they are twin sprints I have decided to sign up for 15 races and a 2 hr ASRA endurance race. I am going after the Michelin tire $ and if all goes well I can make over 2G's that weekend.
Ordered:
Michelin Power Ones
Ferodo Xracs
Stomp Grips
